I’m a multidisciplinary designer with a passion for beautiful brand identities, strong design systems and human-centered digital experiences.
10+ years of agency and consulting experience in industries such as: automotive, banking, telecom, fast-food, wellness, retail and in-house at a photography oriented tech start-up.
After hours I enjoy discovering new culinary experiences, traveling places that have tacos, dabbling in photography, playing video games, spending time with my wife, practicing yoga, and recharging my spirit in nature.
All good relationships are built on a foundation of good communication. I pride myself on being able to effectively collaborate and communicate with team members and stakeholders. I take strides to make sure that everyone feels like they have a seat at the table, that their perspectives are welcome and the ultimately we are here to work together to deliver something special.
Wireframes, mockups, and functional prototypes allow me to get a website or mobile app into user hands quickly to gauge early feedback that will inform future design and development decisions.
My designs go far beyond just being easy-to-use interfaces—it's about blending functionality with aesthetics and creating a journey that resonates with the user's needs.
User Research is crucial when validation is needed about user behaviors, needs, or preferences. It helps in making informed decisions that vastly improve a user’s experience and overall product satisfaction.
I start by understanding the end-user. My extensive user interview moderation experience allows me get to the heart of what customers care about most. I also have experience in conducting competitor analysis, unmoderated user testing, data analysis, and many more methods.
Figma is my main weapon of choice these days but I am constantly learning and expanding my skillset of new low or no code design and development tools. A convergence of design and development skills is on the horizon and I personally embrace this change and believe that it will lead to better collaboration between design/development teams and ultimately to better product outcomes.
Development of scalable design frameworks to ensure consistency and efficiency across products. A design system will always improve speed, quality, and consistency in the long run. Consistency and quality have a strong impact on your product's image and the user experience.
A design system is much more than colors and components. It lets you share and explain the philosophy and principles behind your design. You could say it’s a hands-on guide for how to design at your organization.
